How does loyalty boost work?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Loyalty Boost is an additional interest rate added on top of the base rate of your investments once you qualify for a specific loyalty tier under the Debitum Loyalty Program.

How it works

Your loyalty tier is determined by your total Outstanding Investment (OI). Each tier provides a fixed extra percentage that increases your effective annual return.

For example, if an asset offers 12% p.a. and your tier includes a +0.50% boost, your effective return becomes 12.50% p.a.

When is it applied?

  1. Subscription becomes an investment within 24 hours.
When you invest, the status initially shows as "Subscribed." Within 24 hours, it changes to "Invested." Only invested amounts count toward your loyalty tier, so it means that the loyalty boost will be applied the next day.

  2. Tier upgrades happen the next day.
If your invested amount increases and qualifies you for a higher tier, the upgrade is applied the following day. The new Loyalty Boost then applies to your investments.

Does the boost change for existing investments?

No. The adjustment is not retroactive. Interest already accrued remains calculated according to the tier that was active at that time. From the upgrade day onward, interest is calculated using the new tier boost when applied.

Where can you see it?

You can check your current loyalty tier and boost percentage in the Loyalty Program section of your account. This page also shows the required amount to reach the next tier.

You can also see the Loyalty Boost applied to each investment on the My Portfolio page under the Investments section.

Important notes

  • The Loyalty Boost applies only to invested amounts, not to subscribed funds.

  • The boost is applied automatically; no activation is required.

  • Any tier change (upgrade or downgrade) is processed the next day after your Outstanding Investment changes.

  • Interest is calculated daily based on your invested principal and includes the applicable Loyalty Boost.
