Why is my Auto Invest strategy not placing investments?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If your Auto Invest strategy is not placing investments, the reason is usually related to settings or asset availability. Review the checklist below to identify the cause.

1. Is the strategy enabled?

Make sure the strategy is switched to "On".
You can save a strategy with all rules configured, but it will not invest unless it is enabled.

2. Is your available balance sufficient?

Check your wallet balance. Auto Invest can only use uninvested funds.
Also, review the Minimum wallet balance setting. If this is set too high, the system will keep that amount untouched and may not have enough remaining funds to invest.

3. Are there matching assets available?

Auto Invest only places investments when assets that match your criteria are available on the platform.
If there are no new listings or all matching assets are already fully funded, the strategy will wait.

4. Are your filters too strict?

Very narrow settings can prevent investments. Review:

  • Financial instrument type (ABS / Notes)

  • Minimum and maximum interest rate

  • Term range (months)

  • Selected loan originators

  • Interest payment schedule

  • Maximum investment per asset

If your criteria are too specific, no available asset may qualify.

5. Is your maximum investment amount lower than your balance?

If your strategy allows only small allocations per asset and no suitable partial amounts are available, investments may not be executed.

6. Is the strategy limited to 1 hour per day?

If you selected the "Auto invest 1h/day" option, your strategy runs only during a specific one-hour window. If matching assets appear outside that window, the strategy will not place investments.

7. Is another strategy using the funds first?

If you have multiple strategies active, they may compete for the same available balance. A higher-priority or continuously running strategy may allocate funds before others.

How to resolve the issue

  • Confirm the strategy is enabled.

  • Check your available balance and minimum wallet setting.

  • Temporarily widen your filters (interest rate, term, originators).

  • Verify that matching assets are currently available on the Invest page.

Auto Invest will automatically place investments as soon as all conditions are met and suitable assets are available.
